Gambia News : Gambian leader attends AU summit, Libyan revolution anniversary
It has been announced here on Saturday that Gambian President Yahya
Jammeh will leave for Tripoli at the head of a powerful delegation to
attend the special AU summit on conflict resolution which will be
taking place there, and the 40th anniversary of the Great September
Libyan revolution.
Already,
a contingent of Gambian soldiers is in Tripoli to participate in the
anniversary celebrations, along with similar contingents from a number
of other African countries.
Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi was himself here in
Banjul as chief guest of honour at the 15th anniversary of the 22nd
July military takeover led by Jammeh in 1994.
The AU special summit on African conflicts is scehduled
to be held in the Libyan capital on Monday, to be followed by the 40th
anniversary of the Libyan revolution on Tuesday.

- Yahya Jammeh has not only failed Gambia and Gambians but have equally failed the very ideas of Pan-Africanism that he claim to espouse. Pan-Africanists are not corrupt and they are certainly not Dictators; Yahya is both and worse.

- Yahya Jammeh has no job to do ,he need to resign now.Only a Dictator leader will attend that Anniversary,
He dont care about the suffering Gambian who stuggle to find food in this critical time,food prise going high eachday,children go to bed hungry
