• There nothing wrong with giving a consideration for a job. I think it was foolish and childish to give such long jail term to a desperate ignorant young man for asurd act. I wonder what judiciary system will rule such.

• Its an insult to bribe any president. No matter if in The Gambia, Europe, South America, Asia. 8 years is harsh its true, But the man should have been dealt with and made an example of, Maybe not with that many years in jail though LOL,

• Mr president we are very confident, our journey towards a better Gambia will never fail us. We should be proud of our President and the wanting of a better Gambia. We have the best democracy since the President took office in 1994 for real.

• What about all he bribes already accepted by this murdering president and his outright theft from the Gambian people. Remember he was just a poor soldier. Now look what he owns, obviously not obtained legally. Sorry I forgot he is the law!

• What a joke! Here in the UK anyone writing to the PM for a job in exchange for land would be laughed at! Why send this guy to prison for 8 years? Here in the UK murderers get less than 8 years. Another example of bad BLACK law. Pity....
