Gambia News : Numo Kujabi is new NIA boss
Numo Kujabi, officer commanding - Police Interpol Unit, has confirmed to the Daily Observer his appointment as the new director general of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
Kujabi’s appointment took effect yesterday, Monday, 10th August, 2009. A native of Kalimu Village in the Foni Bondali District, he was enlisted into the Gambia Police Force in 1981. He later left the police force but in 1996 was re-enlisted. Kujabi, 40, until his new appointment, was superintendent of Police. He replaces Modou Lamin Baaji.

- kujabi ? out of all the surnames in the Gambia, it had to be the most obvioius one. tribalism is at the heart of this appointment. boy cessay, serrekunda.
