Gambia News: More Ferries,VP Promises

Vice President Aja Isatou Njie-Saidy has revealed government’s plans to secure more ferries for the Banjul –Barra  route. Mrs. Njie Saidy said this while facing a question and answer on Wednesday 5^th September. She said the plan stems out of government’s awareness of the importance of ferry traffic especially on the north bank area of the country. Mrs. Njie added that government also plans to rehabilitate the dilapidated terminals on the route.
