Gambia News : Gambia's ex-police Chief, 2 others deny treason charges
Former Gambian Inspector-General of Police, Ensa Badjie, and two former army officers -- Lieutenant Colonel Mam Matarr Secka, and Major Kuluteh Manneh -- on Wednesday appeared before in court, slammed with a 30-count criminal charge.
The offences range from conspiracy, sedition, abuse of office and official corruption.
PANA reports that all the accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Presiding judge, Emmanuel Amadi, of the Banjul High Court, later granted the application by the prosecution to remand the accused persons in custody.
The case was adjourned to 3 May for hearing.

- Ensa Badji, was hired for the postion for a reason, to up hold the law. Not to take the law in his own hands. He might have sent people to the Mile for no reason but now he will have to face those same people. Its time he see how they live.

- than god Ensa badjie is in preason as we all know he plan all the allegation of of the ongoing treason trial for his own intrest and many people in the army know whats going just scared to voice it out.

- Jameh will be the nxt guess in Mile 2,time is runing,they day Gambian ppl will be free,they are living in fear,we dont have brave soldiers to overtrow his gov,but if we all stand up and revolt,someting positive will happen,if u want freedom u have 2
