Gambia News: Baba Jobe Seen at Kanifing Court

gambia The incarcerated former National Assembly Member for Jarra West, Mr Baba K. Jobe, was on Tuesday seen at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court under the escort of a senior prisons officer.

Baba Jobe, whose appearance at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court was not clear to onlookers, was in prison uniform and under close escort of a Prisons Inspector. After a brief moment in the courtroom, he was later escorted by the officer back to Mile II Prison.

The APRC heavy weight and former NAM for Jarra West is currently serving a 9-year jail term at the Mile II prison following a conviction for economic crimes by the High Court.
