Gambia News : Libyan leader to be guest of honour at Gambia’s celebrations
The Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi is scheduled to be the guest of
honour at the 15th anniversary of the military take over in The Gambia,
to be celebrated on July 22nd, APA learns here Sunday.
According to a statement issued here on Sunday, Qaddafi is expected to arrive in Banjul on Tuesday and return home on Thursday.
The celebrations, which begin on 22 July, are scheduled
to last for several days, and include various activities such as a
march past of school children and voluntary organisations, as well as
cultural and other social activities.
