Gambia News : Neneh Macdouall-Gaye’s Appointment Terminated
The appointment of Mrs Neneh Macdouall Gaye as Gambia’s Ambassador to the United States of America has been terminated, a statement from the Office of the President said yesterday.
According to the statement, the termination was with immediate effect.

Macdouall-Gaye joined the Cabinet in 2005 when she was appointed as
Secretary of State for Trade, Industry and Employment, a position she
held for a few months before her appointment as Secretary of State for
Communication, Information and Information Technology from 2005 to 19th
March 2008. Following her removal as Secretary of State
for Communication, Information and Information Technology, Mrs Neneh
Macdouall-Gaye was appointed as Managing Director of the Observer
Company Ltd., publishers of the Daily Observer newspaper, a position
she occupied up to the time of her appointment as Gambia’s ambassador to the United States of America.
