Gambia News : No access to Gambian journalists
Family members, colleagues and friends of several journalists who are
being detained by security agencies have expressed disappointment at
not being allowed access to the detainees.
According sources since the arrest of the seven journalists, nobody
has had access to them adding that this was source of worry to them.
The
sources added that human rights lawyer Lamin Camara, had made all
attempts to visit the journalists, but he was not given access.
The
sources said when Lawyer Camara wanted to contact the journalists, he
was told to seek clearance from the director of the National
Intelligence Agency but all effort to reach him failed.
