Gambian dont want this monster phedophile leader to be president in the first place,but he used power intending to kill anyone who wana stop him,and people still regret why they dont rebel early against his leardership,not we are all in danger

Most comments here are not carefully thought of. In the beloved Gambia most journalists believe in there own hype just like halifa sallah himself,Jammehs actions are undemocratic but so is the level of bad journalism in our Motherland.Trusts none.

I' m disappointed but not surprised; Jammeh has been trying to silence the media ever since he cowardly took over from the incompetent Dawda Jawara and his PPP government back July of 94. Mr. Jammeh, stop harassing the media; they have all the right to respond(send a Press release) to your stupid comments about how Deyda Hydara died. You can't silence the media and i believe that the Gambian media will keep fighting to keep us informed. God Bless these individuals and i have you will release them unharmed so they can continue their work

Its is time Gambians in the diaspora get DIRECTLY involved in ousting this idiotic monster from power!!! I suggest a GAMBIAN FM station in Dakar that wiould broadcast to Banjul all Jammeh's heinous deeds for a start!! Radio Liberty??!!

this is sad. journalist getting rounded up like a fula cattle. I hope to see a Gambia which respects its journalist right to express themselves freely. I hope Gambians will not surrender their freedom for relative charity development we beg for.
