In Atlantic Seafood Alleged Theft Case

The two employees of Atlantic Seafood Company, suspected of stealing as well as aiding and abetting it, were last week arraigned before magistrate Mboto at the Banjul Magistrates’ Court.

Biran Secka and Amadou Sarr were last Tuesday respectively charged with stealing, aiding and abetting it.

Meanwhile, it was indicated in the charge sheet that Biran Secka was a storekeeper with Atlantic Seafood Company but in the months of April, May and June stole 372kg of shrimps .The shrimps, valued at D82,149, were the property of Atlantic Seafood.

In a related development, Amadou Sarr was charged with an alleged offence of aiding and abetting theft. He’s suspected of aiding Biran Secka to steal from his employer [Atlantic Seafood] in April, May and June of this year.

They all denied the charges and their case resumes soon.
