Gambia News : Gambians prepare for cultural week in Gothenburg

The glitz and glamour of Gambia’s cultural week would reach an exciting pinnacle with the upcoming Gambian Cultural Week in Gothenburg starting June 19th - July 11th. As summer dawns, many Gambians across Europe & as far as the United States are preparing to converge in the city of Gothenburg , Sweden. Event campaign manager, Mariama Jarju highlighted that this years show will be a one of kind with star performances from big Gambian names.
The start-off events will include programmes featuring Mr Kebba Landing from Stockholm. The event will also finish off with a sparkling all white party. Event & Logistics manager Mariama Jarju was tight lipped about a surprise artist from The Gambia also expected to perform during the cultural week. The schedule menu will include a glittering runway fashion show and a range of activities that are expected to keep the crowd engaged throughout the week.
