The prosecution in the criminal case against Tabara Samba, who has been charged with the murder of her late husband, Mr. Ebrima Nyan, yesterday said that they are yet to receive the medical report from the medical authority. The presiding magistrate, Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates Court, informed the family of the deceased that the other reason was that the defense counsel, Lawyer Drammeh, had also lost his brother few days ago and need time to prepare himself. It would be recalled that the accused, Mrs. Tabara Samba, allegedly poured hot oil on her husband, killing him, in March 2007. The case was adjourned for a fortnight for continuation. |
