Damascus, (SANA)-President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia on Tuesday condemned massacres perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian and Lebanese people, expressing support to the Palestinians who have long suffered from the Israeli aggressions, violations and assassinations. Jammeh, in an interview with al-Jazeera TV Channel, criticized the UN which "has a double standard policy and suffers from contradictions because it wouldn't punish Israel which usurps the Palestinian rights". He added "Israel is not only ignoring UN resolutions, but it also attacking them', expressing his country's support to the owners of usurped rights to restore their rights. Jammeh drew international attention when he invited the controversial leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the african union summit hosted by Banjul earlier this year. |
